Silk’n Bellalite Review

Silkn-Bellalite-Customer-ReviewWith the technology we have today, it is SOP (standard operating procedure, you are welcome) to Google (or stalk) a prospect before actually deciding to buy it. In my case, the search for the best hair removal machine for home use.

I swear, when I first starting looking to buy a laser hair removal machine safe enough to use at home, it could have been easier if there wasn’t for the hundreds of hair removal devices available in the market. Imagine being in a big warehouse of all these hair removal options and literally going crazy because of the different features posed by these devices! Really mind boggling, definitely.

Weighing the pros and cons of the different permanent hair removal devices available, I found myself purchasing the BellaLite By Silk’n as one of the very first machines I ever bought, promising 70% permanent hair reduction in a span of 3 months of treatment. I was quite doubtful at first, but this product proved to effective (for the time being).

UPDATE: So if you want the quick answer to the questions ‘did it work?’, the short answer is, YES it did, but ‘is it as good as other machines?’, the short answer is NO. Hence why is the last ranked machine on our list.

Now, in my time, I’ve gone through a fair few machines and out of all the ones I’ve tried, yes the Silk’n Bellalite produced some good results but to be honest, my fav machine by far (so far) is the Me Smooth for those with dark skin or with blonde, red, white or grey hair, or if you want a machine that is for light skin/dark hair, I would honestly use the Philips Lumea 100 times over this machine (that is my machine of choice).

If you want something that doesn’t take too much of your pay cheque, it’s a great option but if you want a machine with more power and to get quicker results, you should consider maybe the Philips Lumea that I suggested above or read about the other’s girls opinion’s on the Tria 4x or Silk’n Flash&Go or Remington Quartz < these machines are the top of the crop and you won’t be eyeing off another machine any time soon.

WARNING: Do not use this machine on very dark brown or black skin, use this machine instead. Do you have blonde, red, grey or white hair? You need to use this machine.

My Bellalite by Silk’n Review

Safe to Use

Okay, this is at the top of my list, for who would want to put their health at risk? Call me freaky nuts, but I am very careful in trying out machines on my body. One good guarantee of the safety of this machine has FDA approval. So safe to use? Check.

Painless way to get rid of unwanted hair

Bellalite-by-Silkn

With much researching, I have been welcomed by the information that with IPL treatment, you get to experience stinging sensation as you go along the process. I was wary with this, but thought that if I can go through waxing, why not this one?

To my surprise, the “pain” that I was expecting for did not come at all! Okay, I experience a little pinch or so, but it only lasted for a second or so. This is utterly manageable, for my pain tolerance is pretty low, so it speaks a lot for me. Minimal discomfort? Check!

Okay, this might not be the case for all the users out there, but for my skin (tanned, with fine black hair), there is an evident hair growth reduction after 3 months of (faithful) treatment. The remaining patches on my legs have finer hair growing, but all the rest, flaaaaawless.

To get maximum results, you should shave as close as possible beforehand. This is for the Intense Pulsed Light to be able to target your hair follicles accordingly. But take note! Be very careful when choosing your intensity level, for it might be very strong for you after all, which actually happened to me.. ouch.

Reliable and cost effective at home hair removal system

Silkn-Bellalite-Hair-Removal-SystemI have been using this device for 5 months now, and I can say that its longevity and effectiveness surprised me, considering its price. I can affirm that this hair removal device exceeded my expectations, and it is an investment that I will never regret. It saved me trips from the local laser clinic, all the while getting the same results at the comfort of my own home.

Is it worth the purchase?

Yes if you are looking for something that isn’t wow bang in effectiveness with a more affordable price tag. Purchasing any laser hair removal machine or IPL hair removal machine entails its risk, and with this permanent hair removal device, I took it.

The return of my investment proved to be ok, for I am definitely happy with my purchase however I am longing to buy a more up to date machine such as the Tria 4X or the Veet sometime soon.  I believe that this machine tends to be outdated when it comes to effectiveness and efficiency and I believe that I can put my money to a better machine in the likes of these that have the latest technology. I am just finding that it just doesn’t have the wow factor and wow results like the other machines do.
